Professional Background

Mark, senior manager, specializes in business valuation, economic loss, and litigation support engagements. Mark has developed valuations for both business interests and intangible assets ranging from under $1 million to more than $175 million.  He has performed valuation analyses for a variety of purposes including acquisition / sale, share issuance / redemption, stock option issuance, estate and gift tax, income tax, lost profit claims, divorce, shareholder dispute, and financial reporting.  While the majority of Mark's experience involves manufacturing businesses, he also has valuation experience in a broad spectrum of industries, such as oil & gas, financial, trucking, telecommunications, management consulting, and promotional products distribution.

Mark's litigation experience includes analyses of financial damages involving lost profits, patent infringement, breach of contract claims, personal injury, wrongful death, employment-related matters, and medical malpractice.  Mark has testified as an expert in Federal court. 

Previously, Mark was an international tax consultant for Price Waterhouse. He was also an auditor for the Big Four firm, auditing companies in numerous industries, ranging from a professional sports franchise to a transportation company.

Prior to joining Gleason & Associates, Mark worked for two small CPA firms, providing tax, accounting, valuation, and litigation support services to a diverse client base.
