Matthew (Matt) Hughey, a Director at Gleason & Associates, provides project management and analysis for a full range of accounting and consulting services in the areas of litigation support, business valuation and financial reorganization.

Matt's experience in litigation support engagements includes the determination of lost profits and financial damages arising from disputes in a variety of industries. Matt's analysis of financial damages has been performed for a number of purposes, including intellectual property matters, breach of contract allegations, and insurance recovery claims. Matt's experience in business valuation includes the determination of value for purposes including shareholder disputes and estate taxes. Matt has substantial experience with public and private companies in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, land development, professional sports, and others. His experiences in these areas include audit and assurance services associated with financial statements and internal control over financial reporting, acquisitions, management and review of SEC filing requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, accounting research, and agreed upon procedures work. Matt has also been an instructor at many local continuing education trainings related to various technical accounting and auditing areas.
