Professional Background

Ivan Hofmann, a Managing Director/Shareholder at Gleason & Associates, P.C., has nearly 20 years experience in the areas of accounting, auditing, litigation support, forensic investigations and due diligence work. Ivan has extensive experience with public and private companies in a broad range of industries, including Gleason IP, telecommunications, broadband, manufacturing, oil and gas, coal, utilities, land development, health care, hospitality, and others. His experiences in these areas include litigation support and forensic accounting, audit and assurance services, mergers and acquisitions, public securities offerings, accounting research, SEC compliance, due diligence, valuation, and other advisory services.

Ivan leads Gleason IP, the firm's Intellectual Property practice, and has extensive litigation support experience in quantifying financial damages related to patent infringement and other intellectual property issues as well as breach of contract claims, warranty issues, class action law suits and other litigation related matters. Ivan's experience includes using statistical, financial and economic analysis and models related to various issues. Ivan provides value added services in all phases of litigation in various capacities including assistance with discovery, depositions, expert opinions, and testimony during trial. Ivan also has experience with fraud investigations, forensic accounting, and accountants' liability cases. Ivan has been involved in matters in state and federal civil and criminal courts, as well as domestic and international arbitration and other forums for dispute resolution. Outside of the dispute setting, Ivan also performs valuation financial consulting and due diligence services for various purposes. Ivan also has responsibilities related to firm administration, practice management and quality reviews of projects and reports.

Prior to joining Gleason, Ivan was a Senior Manager with the public accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche in various departments for over a decade, including Forensic and Dispute Services and Assurance and Advisory Services. He served numerous clients in various industries ranging in size from small, privately held companies to large multi-national, Fortune 500 companies. Ivan has also been a lead instructor at many national continuing education trainings related to various technical accounting and auditing areas and SEC compliance.
